I don't think the movies are redundant other than the CIA is trying to kill Bourne. You can't really avoid that in the plot, due to the nature of Bourne's desire for revenge against them. What I love about this series is the fighting. There is nothing like it in the movies today or ever, pretty much. We live in times of wires and cgi, so the fight sequences here are refreshing. the other thing I enjoy is Bourne's intelligence. it's not just a mindless shoot em up movie. great movie.
