I'm a sucker for a well done time travel movie, and this one along with "Peggy Sue Got Married" are my all time favorites in that category. You called it a twist, but I thought of the ending as a punch line and had a good laugh at it. Funny thing. I incorrectly remembered that Lasky was the one who argued against interfering. Perhaps Sheen's politics overlay the roles he played. Thanks for this wonderful review of a movie I really enjoyed.
