The word translated always refers to carved wood or casted metal.  It mentions nothing about 2-D images.  Also implied is an &quot;idol&quot; as some translations have it.  That is, something to worship.  If it doesn&#039;t, then the angels on the ark a few chapters later would be a bigger problem than a celuloid film.</description>
