It would take a miracle to get you out of Casablanca, and the Germans have outlawed miracles.

Somewhere along the way, a supposedly unremarkable studio B picture, just another wartime romance, turned into an enduring, Oscar-winning classic, the most beloved and oft-quoted picture of its era.

Lost in La Mancha (2002)

I would just like to know, for the record, where is the director of this film?

Had everything gone according to plan in August of 2000, the film that became Lost in La Mancha would have been an extra on the DVD edition of a new Terry Gilliam film called The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, starring Johnny Depp. Instead, this film shows an often bizarre sequence of events that explains why there was never any such film.
