Nice review there, I have been looking at movies lately but not as entertainment, more as asking why did they make the movie in the first place?, and if I remember right there were some political things going on at the time which leads me to believe that sometimes Hollywood attempts to help out its political leaders in the form of making big budget audio visual propaganda (for lack of a better way to describe it) witness “Blackhawk down” as an example of US military propaganda……Now Clinton was in big traouble before this movie came out, remember Monica and all that fuss? Yet this movie comes out exactly at a time when people needed a big dose of ‘a heroic president’who would fight for his country to the death’ a real hero is what this movie offered…and Harrison Ford gave us a very convincing portayal in this movie……to me it was all politically motivated and probably funded by Clintons spin doctors as well, anyhoo thats my take on the movie.
