This is a cool little movie. Likeable characters in a deadly situation. What’s not to like in this film? It’s not on my A list but it’s part of a short list of scifi/horror films that I just enjoy like Dog Soldiers, Deep Blue Sea, Deep Rising. The Relic, and Soldier. None are classics but kick-butt little movies.

I used to think that this movie was an example of a movie that’s perfect in every way. I’ve mellowed out on my opinion of it now, but I still think it’s a charming little film.
