There are rumors of a new Superman DVD box set next year to coincide with the new movie. Expect it then.

I love this movie, and you review of it fully does it justice. A shame there aren’t more filmns like it really, it pretty much is in a class of its own.

Have read through most of your archives (sure is a lot to read), and thought it was about time I droped a message to say “well done, and by all means keep going”. Dunno if you’ve done them yet or not, but if not, any chance that Superman 1 & 2 are on the To-Do list?

i love that movie it reminds me of the Neverending Story which to my dismay has become the neverending movies they should have stopped at the first one, but i like this movie none the less, it really is funny and not a sappy love story like most but just enough love to get the chicks to force their byfriends to take them to see it

The extras on the DVD are good too. The funniest story Rob Reiner told was years later having left a fancy restaurant in New York to see a limo with an rather obvious mon enforcer standing it beside it.

“Hey you’re Rob Reiner?” from the muscle. “Hello, I’m Inigo Matoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die. I love that movie!”

It just touches everybody.
